不久，艾迪来到了大牢内，打开了门，却不见了尼禄。只见，大牢内的病床上空无一人，一瓶点滴的输液针悬空在一边，垂了下来，还未输完！
忽然，一个人影划过！
“Who!（谁！）”艾迪一惊。
“Let me out!（放我出去！）”只见，尼禄来到了艾迪身后，用一把刀架在了艾迪脖子上。
“Nero, I come to see you, do you want to kill me also?（尼禄，我是来看你的，连我都要杀吗？）”艾迪开口道。
“I say it again, let me out!（我再说一遍，放我出去！）”尼禄挟持着艾迪，喝道。
“All right, but don't do anything rash.（好吧，但你别乱来。）”艾迪无奈说道。
与此同时，FBI的0902直升机来到了黑帮附近的岛屿。
“Pilot, do you find him?（驾驶员，找到了吗？）”汤姆抱着化为外星兔子形态的卢卡斯，忽然问道。
“Jackson's positioning has been thoroughly researched across all dimensions.（已经全方位搜索杰克逊的定位了。）”驾驶员开口道，“Oh, I find it!（哦，发现了！）”
说罢，直升机驾驶员驶向了那个岛屿的某一处方位。不久，楚浩然得救，上了直升机。
“Jackson, are you okay?（杰克逊，你怎样？）”汤姆问道。
“Fortunately, I wasn't hit by a bullet.（还好，没中弹。）”只见，楚浩然拔出了手臂上破窗而出时扎到的玻璃窗碎片，拿过了汤姆背包内的医疗用品，忽然看向了卢卡斯，顿时一惊，“What's wrong with Lucas's eye?!（卢卡斯的眼睛怎么了？！）”
“He was shot by a gang member, I don't know if he’ll lose his sight, I'm so worried...（被黑帮的人打的，我不知道会不会失明，我好担心……）”汤姆抱着昏迷的卢卡斯，很是担忧。
“Tom, it will be okay.（汤姆，会没事的。）”说着，楚浩然伸手搭在了汤姆肩上。
很快，他们回到了组织FBI，楚浩然带着时光机，走进了实验室。
“Jackson, you're finally back.（杰克逊，你可终于回来了。）”凯瑟琳立马上前问候。
“Catherine, how's your experiment going?（凯瑟琳，你们实验做得怎么样了？）”楚浩然问道。
“Very successful.（很成功。）”说着，凯瑟琳拉过了楚浩然的手臂，接着说道，“Did you bring the time machine back, Jackson?（时光机拿回来了吗，杰克逊？）”
“Yes.（对的。）”只见，楚浩然拿出了时光机。
“Are you hurt?（你受伤了吗？）”凯瑟琳忽然看向了楚浩然裹着纱布的手臂。
“Fortunately, it was a minor injury. However, Lucas suffered a serious injury, his right eye was shot, and he is currently receiving emergency treatment for his eye in the emergency room.（还好，是轻伤。不过卢卡斯伤得很重，右眼中弹，目前还在急救室医治眼睛。）”楚浩然开口道。
“Will he blind?（会失明吗？）”凯瑟琳担忧极了。
“Hard to say, anyway, let's wait for the surgical results first.（不好说，总之先等手术结果吧。）”楚浩然摇了摇头，接着说道。
与此同时，汤姆抱着卢卡斯来到了FBI的医疗室。
“Is it Lucas again? What's wrong with him?（又是卢卡斯吗，他怎么了？）”在看到那只兔子外形的卢卡斯的一刹那，一个FBI成员顿时一惊。
“The right eye was hit by a bullet, save him quickly!（右眼中弹，快救救他！）”只见，汤姆将卢卡斯抱上了手术台。
于是，卢卡斯动起了手术，汤姆坐在一边很是担忧。
“Give me the tweezers!（镊子给我！）”
“Will he blind?（会失明吗？）”
“Let's give it a try.（我们尽量试一下吧。）”
“Wait, just like the previous two times, Lucas's blood carried an electric current!（等一下，和前两次一样，卢卡斯的血液带着电流！）”
“It might be because he's an alien, don’t care about it.（大概和他是外星人有关，别当回事。）”
“Will he have a fever this time?（这次会发烧吗？）”
“I remember that his normal body temperature was 40℃!（我记得他的正常体温不是40℃吗？！）”
“……”
“Tom...（汤姆……）”忽然，卢卡斯闭着眼，缓缓开口道。
“Lucas!（卢卡斯！）”汤姆立马上前查看。
“This won't do. Lucas might end up having his right eye removed.（这样不行，搞不好卢卡斯的右眼要摘除了。）”这时，一个动手术的FBI成员开口道。
“He can’t be blind!（他不可以失明！）”汤姆一把拉住了那个FBI成员喊道。
“Don't be like this, Tom.（别这样，汤姆。）”另外几个FBI成员拉过了汤姆。
“Charge me, just charge my right eye, and it will get better...（帮我充电，把我的右眼充电，会好的……）”这时，卢卡斯再次吃力开口道。
“What?!（什么？！）”听到这儿，几个FBI成员顿时大惊。
“Lucas, hold on.（卢卡斯，撑住。）”汤姆看着卢卡斯，开口道。
不知过了多久，卢卡斯的病床被推了出去，汤姆紧跟其后。
“Lucas!（卢卡斯！）”楚浩然和凯瑟琳路过。
“How is the surgery?（手术如何？）”楚浩然一把拉过了汤姆的手臂。
“Fortunately, Lucas's physical build is quite unique, so he no longer has any major concerns.（还好，卢卡斯的身体构造很特别，已无大碍了。）”汤姆开口道。
“How is his right eye after the surgery?（他的右眼怎么样了手术动下来？）”凯瑟琳问道。
“The treatment for Lucas was quite unique: after the bullet was removed, simply recharging his right eye would be fine.（医治卢卡斯的方式很特别，子弹取出之后，帮他的右眼充电就好了。）”汤姆接着说道，“I won't talk to you for now, I'm going to wait for Lucas to wake up.（先不和你们聊了，我去等卢卡斯醒过来。）”
“OK, you can leave.（好的，去吧。）”楚浩然开口道。
说着，汤姆跟着卢卡斯的手术病床离开。
夜晚，汤姆房间内，卢卡斯还在昏迷。
“Tom, I'm hungry.（汤姆，我饿了。）”忽然，卢卡斯闭着眼，开口道。
“Huh? Lucas, are you okay?（啊？卢卡斯，你没事了吗？）”在倒水的汤姆立马去查看卢卡斯。
“No matter.（没事。）”只见，卢卡斯睁开了眼，他的右眼还遮着纱布，接着说道，“Can I remove this gauze?（我可以把这个纱布拿开吗？）”
“Lucas, I think it would be best if you wore gauze for a few days.（卢卡斯，我觉得你最好戴几天纱布。）”汤姆立马扶着卢卡斯躺下，接着起身离开，“I'll cook some food for you.（我帮你去煮点吃的。）”
“Tom, the Spirit Stone still hasn't been got back, what should we do?（汤姆，灵石还是没能拿回来，要怎么办？）”卢卡斯忽然问道。
“Make sure your injuries heal first, the rest doesn't need to be rushed.（你先养好伤，其他的不急。）”汤姆煮着面，开口道。
“Tom, if I weren't from Mars and didn't have such strong self-healing abilities. And if I were actually blind, would you be very sad?（汤姆，要是我不是火星人，没有那么强的自愈能力，真的失明的话，你会不会很伤心？）”卢卡斯说道。
“Lucas, don't say such things. If it was, and I took you along on this gang adventure, I would feel guilty and never be at peace for the rest of my life.（卢卡斯不讲这种话。要是那样的话，还是我把你一起带去黑帮冒险，我会自责，会一辈子都不安宁的。）”汤姆有些失落。
“Tom, I'm wondering, if one day I were to return to Mars, would you feel reluctant to let me leave?（汤姆，我在想，你那么在乎我，要是有一天我要回火星了，你会不会不舍啊？）”卢卡斯又问。
“Will you come back again?（你还会回来吗？）”汤姆一愣，接着问道。
“I don't know, but what if my mission is complete and I have no choice but to return?（不知道，但是万一我的任务完成了，不得不回去呢？）”卢卡斯开口道。
“Lucas, if that's the case, I will truly cherish every day I spend with you until you leave.（卢卡斯，要是那样的话，我一定会珍惜和你过的每一天，直到你离开为止。）”汤姆煮着面，接着说道，“Throughout my life, I have never been able to protect anyone, it was always others who shielded me until the end. This time, however, I wish to protect someone I can truly safeguard, to ensure his safety and well-being.（我这一辈子没能保护过任何人，都是别人把我护到最后，这一次我想保护一个我可以保护的人，护他周全。）”
“Tom...（汤姆……）”听到这儿，卢卡斯内心矛盾极了。
